SUMMARY
Webサイト構築からその運用、サイトに埋め込んだ解析システムからのマーケティング分析、最適な戦略の提案、Webシステム開発など、Webを使ったコミュニケーション全般を手がける株式会社先駆は、これからのWebに必須の考え方であるWebアクセシビリティ導入支援をいち早く取り入れたまさに先駆者と言える会社です。
BACKGROUND
Webの専門家が自社のサイトを制作すると、どうしても専門用語が多くなりがちです。お客様となる企業の担当者、そして決裁をする立場であるその上司の方までわかりやすいサイトにすることを目指しました。また、お客様が必要としている様々な内容をカバーできるよう、事業内容について広い範囲を紹介。特に先駆の強みであるWebアクセシビリティについて手厚く制作しました。
APPROACH
半年間、隔週で会議を繰り返し、各担当者にヒアリングをしました。必要項目を決め、”わかりやすく求められる情報を載せましょう”などのアドバイスをしながら担当者の社員さんに文章を書いていただきました。元原稿を推敲し、ターゲットの方々にも理解できるように書き直しました。
お客様となる企業の担当者は、先駆に発注する前に上司にプレゼンせねばなりません。必要な箇所を読むことになるので、多くの事業領域をカバーし、どの箇所もわかりやすくなるよう仕上げました。専門用語を可能な限り避け、徹底してお客様目線でわかりやすい文章、構成に。
先駆はWebアクセシビリティをいち早く手がけたため、アドバンテージがある状態です。競合がすぐに真似できるわけでもないので、企業秘密以外全て紹介し教科書を作るつもりでいきましょうとの提案をし、詳細を載せました。
Over a period of six months, we held fortnightly meetings and interviewed everyone involved. We decided on the items necessary for the website and asked the relevant employees to write the text, providing advice such as “present the required information in an easy-to-understand manner”. After rewriting the text, we completed the website by asking the relevant person to check it again.
We also took photos of the employees and their working environment, posting them on the site alongside the introductory text.
Before placing an order with SENKU, the person in charge of the client company had to present the site to their supervisor. As they would be reading the necessary sections, we made sure to cover a large number of business areas and ensure that every section was easy to understand. Using too many technical terms would make it difficult to understand, but making it too simple would make it incomprehensible.
Since SENKU was one of the first companies to implement web accessibility, we have a competitive advantage. We proposed introducing them to all but the most sensitive information, as if they were creating a textbook, and including detailed information on their work.
